Books & Bites combines a book club with a potluck! Participants will prepare and share tasty dishes inspired by the monthly theme, then discuss the cookbooks used to prepare the meal. Age 18 and up.
This month, we're making recipes from the America's Test Kitchen cookbook series.
Borrow a cookbook from one of our branches or our eBook collection on this month's theme and prepare a recipe to bring to the Ellettsville Branch and share. We'll eat tasty dishes while discussing the cookbooks we used for that night's meal. Participants are encouraged to bring their own plates and cutlery to cut down on waste. Note: Dishes may be unable to accommodate dietary restrictions.
The Ellettsville Branch, located in the Downtown Historic District of Ellettsville, has reservable meeting rooms, age-specific spaces for children and teens, and an outdoor garden area.
