Books & Bites combines a book club with a potluck! Participants will prepare and share tasty dishes inspired by the monthly theme, then discuss the cookbooks used to prepare the meal. Age 18 and up.
This month, we're loving all things cheese—both milk-based and vegan.
Borrow a cookbook from one of our locations or our eBook collection on that theme and prepare a recipe to bring to the Ellettsville Branch and share. We'll eat tasty dishes while discussing the cookbooks we used for that night's meal. Participants are encouraged to bring their own plates and cutlery to cut down on waste. Note: that dishes may be unable to accommodate dietary restrictions.
The Ellettsville Branch, located in the Downtown Historic District of Ellettsville, has reservable meeting rooms, age-specific spaces for children and teens, and an outdoor garden area.
