Join us for our quarterly Teaching Kitchen book club! Bring the cookbook you chose, the recipe you used, and a dish from your cookbook to share and enjoy! Beverages will be provided. Age 18 and up.
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, so we'll be celebrating these cultures and their cuisines! Check out the AtoZ World Food database on our website in addition to cookbooks for authentic recipes!
In the Teaching Kitchen, we'll sample each other's dishes while our presenter whips up a recipe for everyone to taste at the end. We'll talk about the new cooking skills we’ve learned and the cookbooks we chose. Be sure to bring containers for any leftovers! Be aware that as food is prepared outside of the kitchen, dietary restrictions may not be accounted for. Please bring the recipe used or a card with ingredients listed.
All attendees must sign a waiver; you can download and sign it prior to the program, or you can sign one of the copies we'll have on-site.
Please contact Zofia Spiegel at zspiegel@mcpl.info if you have any questions about this program.
