The Junior Explorers is a new community for young nature lovers. Join us for stories, lessons, and crafts all about our local plants and animals. Ages 2-7.
The Junior Explorers Meetings will be held once a month in the Downtown Library Children's Program Room. Join us for nature-related stories, lessons, and crafts for kids and their families centered around our monthly topic.
This month's topic is all about our local wildlife. Young children will learn about identifying local flora and fauna. Adults will learn about some of our local animal rescues and wildlife resources. Additionally, families will be able to take home their own Indiana wildlife coloring book.
Please contact Jon Stevens at jstevens@mcpl.info if you have any questions about this program.
The Downtown Library is in the heart of Downtown Bloomington, located right on Kirkwood Avenue. It provides a variety of meeting rooms, spaces for children and teens, a digital creativity center, and much more.
