Meeting Room A

Join us for our quarterly Movies vs. Books Club! Popcorn and candy will be provided during the movie. Age 18 and up.

Read Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton, then join us to watch the latest installment of the Jurassic Park movie franchise, Jurassic Park Rebirth, directed by Gareth Edwards. Afterwards, we'll tackle the question: which was better—the book or the movie?

Movie summary:
Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet's ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures within that tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.

Book summary:
An astonishing technique for recovering and cloning dinosaur DNA has been discovered. Now humankind’s most thrilling fantasies have come true. Creatures extinct for eons roam Jurassic Park with their awesome presence and profound mystery, and all the world can visit them—for a price. Until something goes wrong...
