Donate gently used toys or books in good condition and select from hundreds of gifts to take home! 12-2 PM is early access for donors, and 2-4 PM is open to all. All ages.
Join the Library and Tandem for the third annual Community Toy Swap. Clear away some clutter by donating at least one gently used toy or children's book in good condition, and you and your family can "shop" early from a variety of toys and books! Donations will be accepted from Monday, November 3, to Friday, December 5, at the Children's desk at the Downtown Library or at Tandem (2613 E. 3rd Street, Bloomington). Donors will receive a family early access ticket.
Schedule:
12–2 PM: Early access for donors (early donation required)
2–4 PM: Open to all
Free gift wrapping will be available. A supervised child's craft activity will be available nearby so that caregivers can choose gently used toys in secret.
Need to pick out gifts earlier? No problem! The Southwest Branch is hosting an earlier session on Saturday, November 29, from 11 AM–3 PM.
Please contact Jon Stevens at jstevens@mcpl.info if you have any questions about this program.
This program is in partnership with Tandem.
