Join us for a special edition of the Secret Literary Society as we explore cookbooks for kids in our Teaching Kitchen. Caregivers of attendees must sign a waiver for their child to join. Ages 9-12.
It's more than just a book club! This Literary Society is exclusively for tweens to explore new books, music, activities, and more while building your very own library of interests. And well, it's a Secret Literary Society, so we can't disclose too much information, but we can tell you that there will be different themed books that we'll try out, snacks, music, and activities for each meeting. If you're looking for a low-stress—and secret—bookish club, come join us!
All attendees must sign a waiver; you can download and sign it prior to the program or you can sign one of the copies we'll have on-site. We'll do our best to accommodate allergies, however, it may not always be possible and we must be made aware of them two weeks before the program.
Note: Space is limited for this program; siblings of an attendee may not attend.

The Southwest Branch, recently opened in 2023 and located next to Batchelor Middle School, has reservable meeting rooms, spaces for children and teens, a teaching kitchen, and an amphitheater.
