Children's Program RoomChoose your starter Pokémon, complete challenges to build your team, and uncover an ancient Pokémon myth to become a Pokémon Master in this special after-hours adventure! Ages 6-9.
An ancient Pokémon secret has been uncovered at the Downtown Library! The entire MCPL Children's Department has been transformed into a newly discovered Pokémon region, and you have been chosen to become a Pokémon trainer so you can catch 'em all!
Once you enter the Downtown Library, the Fossil Professors will provide you with a Pokédex, and you will select your very own starter Pokémon. With your Pokéball in hand, you'll journey into five unique areas to catch different types of Pokémon, complete a variety of challenges, and make friends with the local Pokémon. When you're ready, you'll join your fellow trainers in a raid battle against a slew of tough Pokémon to become a Pokémon Master!
Note: Due to this program taking place after the Downtown Library is closed, space is limited and registration is required to attend. Only one child (age 6–9) and one accompanying adult (age 18 and up) per registration form will be permitted.
