Southwest Children's Program RoomGet in the fall spirit and decorate a pumpkin as your favorite book character to create your entry for the Pumpkin Character Challenge! Expect a mess; please dress accordingly. Ages 7–12.
In order to enter the Pumpkin Character Challenge contest, submit a short form and a photo of your pumpkin. A winner from each age group will be chosen during the first week of November.

The Southwest Branch, recently opened in 2023 and located next to Batchelor Middle School, has reservable meeting rooms, spaces for children and teens, a teaching kitchen, and an amphitheater.
