In this program, you'll learn how to reduce food waste by finding fun, new ways to use the parts of plants that people usually throw away. This includes fruit rinds, root vegetable greens, vegetable stalks, and more! All attendees must sign a waiver; you can download and sign it prior to the program, or you can sign one of the copies we'll have on-site.

The Southwest Branch, recently opened in 2023 and located next to Batchelor Middle School, has reservable meeting rooms, spaces for children and teens, a teaching kitchen, and an amphitheater.
