Explore the origins of Tarot as a courtly card game and learn how to create custom rules and powers for your own Triumph cards during this hands-on workshop. Ages 12-19.
Continue learning how Tarot games were played in 15th century Italy, including suits, court cards, and triumphs. Using colored pencils, markers, and blank Tarot cards, participants will design their own Triumph cards with special rules and powers and learn how to play this historic game. This program includes a 15-minute presentation followed by a 45-minute creative activity.
