Children's Program RoomJoin us as we hand-make toys and early literacy tools for young children. What you make is yours to keep. Parents, caregivers, or early childhood educators, come get creative with us! Age 18 and up.
We’ll be crafting toys and early literacy tools for children with common craft materials. Patterns and materials will be provided and can be brought home if more time is needed. Examples will include felt food, alphabet sets, mobiles, and other Montessori-inspired items.
Note: While this program is not designed for children to participate, we'll have toys in the space for any caregiver who needs to bring their child with them in order to attend.
Please contact Jo Barber at jbarber@mcpl.info if you have any questions about this program.
