Explore hands-on riff building through listening, rhythm, and performance activities with Girls Rock Bloomington. Ages 7-12.
Join Grace Elmer for a fun, hands-on workshop exploring the riff—the unforgettable hook at the heart of rock music. Through listening, rhythm, and performance activities, children will learn how riffs are built, and how they give songs their energy and identity. Participants will collaborate to write and perform their own original riffs in a high-energy jam session. No previous experience is needed.
This program is in partnership with Girls Rock Bloomington.
